Happy 20th Post!!

WOW!! This is the 20th post of our blog!!! Okok...maybe it is not that groundbreaking to some of you, but it is to me. Thank you to all who have contributed to the blog. And to all the faithful readers, I thank you too from the bottom of my heart 'cos I know that the posts here are not going unread. So continue to spread this blog around...although it may not have cool pics and stuff (I promise to try!!), but the entries here are painstakingly written and I believe most of them will bless you.

OK...on to the main topic. Found this online :D and it is my new msn display pic.

Hehe...I find the lavatory sign quite amusing. BUT anyway, that's not my focus. Look at the red words instead :p Yup...EXIT. Depending on the usage, the word 'exit' has several meanings. But generally, it means leaving, departing, going away. Nowhere is there any indication of a return, or a coming back. In fact, it even means death.

EXIT.

It means no coming back...no turning back the clock...no chance to undo the regrets.

It means that for some things, there are no second chances.

EXIT. So what will you have done by the time you make your exit?

Haha...ok, this is not going to be a morbid post about dying, or that we should give up everything, be a monk or nun and live a life of sole dedication to God. However, I do believe that wherever we are right now, young or old, we have the capabilities do that little bit more. And how to go about it? Let's start with the way we think what we can do right now.

Some of you may be thinking - "I am so young...I have enough problems on my own...What can I possibly do?...Let the older people do it." Well, I won't try to convince you with my own words. Instead, here are real stories of youths freeing slaves, helping people to walk and blessing orphans. These youths are TEENS!!! They are not doing it for Community Involvement PROGRAMME Points or because they have to, but they are doing it because they really want to make a difference. They are driven by a cause that is larger than themselves. Nothing, not their age, is going to stop them from meeting the needs of the people in the world.

And do you know what is the best part? All of them did it with Jesus in their lives (:

These youths have overcome their fears, stepped out of their comfort zones, and allowed themselves to be used by God to impact the world. Will you too let God use you to impact the world?...by starting in your homes and your classrooms.

'Cos you never know when you will be making your EXIT.
